About Me


Sasha Williams is a recent graduate from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University School of Journalism and Graphic Communication, where she proudly earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations. Her academic journey at FAMU was marked by exploration, growth, and a deep passion for entering the professional world of PR.

Currently, Williams serves as an Account Fellow at Taylor Strategy, where she works closely with the account teams for Captain Morgan and Smirnoff. In this position, she assists in creating and executing strategic PR campaigns, earning media, and analyzing market trends to help both brands connect with their target audiences.
Previously, Williams served as a Publicity Intern at ABC News, where she gained valuable insights from seasoned PR professionals. In this role, she supported the publicists responsible for ABC News programs and platforms, handling tasks such as compiling daily clips and engaging with social media content to enhance the network’s public presence.
Throughout her time at FAMU, Williams served as Vice President of Public Relations for the FAMU chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists (FABJ) during the 2022-2023 academic year. She played an essential role in shaping the organization’s image, organizing events, and overseeing communications. Simultaneously, she worked as Event Coordinator for FAMU's Journey Magazine, where she led event planning and promotion on campus, helping the publication gain visibility.

In her senior year, Williams expanded her skill set as a member of J-School Journals, contributing graphics for events and helping organize successful programs. Her multifaceted involvement at FAMU earned her a spot as a Color Comm Next Generation HBCU Fellow for the class of 2022. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, this opportunity allowed her to learn from influential women of color in the industry and solidified her career aspirations.

Williams also distinguished herself in her final semester at FAMU as a participant in the inaugural Disney Storytellers Cohort at SJGC, which directly led to her summer internship at ABC News. This experience further honed her public relations expertise, demonstrating her dedication and talent.
Williams' passion for public relations stems from her desire to help clients shine, improve their reputation, and maintain a strong public image. Her slogan, "Doing it and Doing it Well," guides her professional journey as she continues to grow in the PR field and make a lasting impact.
